Congratulations SPEDS students and families!

While we are still tallying, it looks like we will surpass our goal of $14,000. 

Because of your hard work, students at at Holy Cross School will have a hot lunch.

That makes God smile!

Happy 50th St. Paul's!

In honor of St. Paul's 50th birthday, 

and in the Spirit of the Wise men offering gifts to serve the Christ child,

St. Paul's Episcopal Church and Day School intends to purchase a rocket stove for our sister school, Holy Cross,  in Haiti.

How this will work:

1. Offerings will be taken daily in divisional chapels for the next two weeks.  Students will be encouraged to bring at least one dollar towards this gift.
2. The church will designate their worship offering at the 10:30 church/school worship celebration on Sunday, January  13.
3. All offerings will be dedicated on Friday, January 25 at our 50th anniversary All School Chapel.

The stove costs approximately $1200 and will serve our hot-lunch program at the school.  Currently Haiti suffers from wide-spread deforestation and cooking fuel sources are limited.  With a rocket stove, we would cut the fuel consumption by 90%.  

 

We are both blessed and excited to have such a wonderful opportunity that will serve to support our school's mission and passion for learning.  Thanks be to God!
